New Member of the Team: Tim Bodeit, Senior Software Engineer
After working as an iOS Developer driving the digital transformation of modern film sets, Tim joined DieProduktMacher as a Senior Software Engineer in November 2020.

An unexpected learning experience

Joining DPM started with a desire to learn. Being intrigued by the power of Artificial Intelligence, I looked for a company where I could bring in my existing Software Engineering skills and gather practical experience in Machine Learning at the same time. The close connections between Tech and Data at DPM turned out to be the perfect environment for this.

Cross-functional teams at this company go much further than I anticipated. I was surprised how much of my evolvement as a Software Engineer over the last ten months happened outside the field of engineering.

DPM helped me to take a step back. To get a deeper understanding of the users’ needs and their journey with the product. To not just build the thing right, but putting more attention on building the right thing. To apply Extreme Ownership to turn great responsibility on every level into a great power.

I was welcomed into a culture of continuous exchange. Into a group of smart people that drive each other forward. Into a team that is so much more than the sum of its parts.

Wherever our team journey takes us next, I am looking forward to it.

The most common error of a smart engineer is to optimize the thing that should not exist.

Elon Musk

If an egg is broken by an outside force, Life ends. If broken by an inside force, Life begins. Great things always begin from the inside.
