Wow, time has really flown by - it's been more than 10 years since we started our DPM journey. During this time, we've gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. In fact, we've compiled some of our key learnings into this blog.

Tips for providing feedback:

Strike while the iron is hot: Give immediate feedback, with relevant examples, to ensure it’s fresh and actionable, without waiting for the next review.
Balance honesty and kindness: Practice radical candor with respect, and make feedback constructive instead of critical.

Getting the balance right is hard, and it takes a while to learn, especially when collaborating with customers or working under pressure.

Some useful pointers:

Listen to understand: Master active listening by being fully present and attentive, letting go of your own thoughts, and being mindful of your body language.
Lead by example: Show your team how to give and receive feedback by being a role model in handling difficult feedback, and acknowledging good feedback practices to create a culture of openness and growth.
Cultivate a feedback culture: Don’t leave feedback to chance. Create a safe and consistent space where feedback can thrive by training your team and guiding them towards a cultural shift.
